Description

Project objective:
Through the transfer of know-how in the handling of biogas, especially with regard to occupational safety and hazard prevention, the acceptance of biogas production from biomass and the energetic use of biogas is to be promoted nationwide.

The project emerged directly from contacts on the ground as a result of an initial project.

The technical work in the project is supported by a local partner in Brazil.

Project partners include the environmental authority of the state, the umbrella organisation of entrepreneurs, the largest water supply and wastewater disposal company, an energy company, two universities, a landfill operator, and representatives of engineering firms and GIZ Brazil.
