Description

After almost four years of investigations into the optimal mass rapid transit connection for an urban development area (new international trade fair, etc.) at the site of the former airport in Riem the city council of Munich, the capital of the federal state of Bavaria, decided in favour of an underground railway in October 1991.

DORSCH CONSULT was retained to design and prepare the documents required for the plan approval procedure in respect of an approx. 7 500 m long section of the line; part of the contract (2 060 m in length) was carried out in joint venture.
