Description

Extensive studies of 15 existing airports throughout Algeria were conducted by the semi-public consulting engineering company SAETI (Société Algérienne d'Etudes d'Infrasructures), an affiliate of DORSCH CONSULT.

Part of the study results indicated the need for additional installations at the airports. In other instances, they led to recommendations for new locations and additional investigations pertaining to such relocations. Detailed designs and, in some cases, tender documents were prepared for all proposed measures. Feasibility studies to extend and upgrade airports according to ICAO Standard B were performed for Adrar, Timimoun and Djanet.

Feasibility studies were carried out with regard to the extension and upgrading according to ICAO Standard A of the airports Oran Es Senia, Tamanrasset, In Amenas, Tlemcen, Bechar, Tebessa, El Golea, and Ilizi.
